Registered with the Chamber of Commerce for less than 1 year (this is not required for an association with limited legal capacity or a religious community).
Does not yet have a business current account with ING;

How do I apply for the Startup business package?

When you open a business current account and have been registered with the Chamber of Commerce for less than one year, you automatically get the first 6 months of your business current account for free. You can apply for a business current account easily and securely online.

What do I pay after 6 months for the Startup business package?

Accepted Answer

The Startup package is free for the first 6 months, including transactions within SEPA countries. After 6 months, you automatically switch to a business package. The Entrepreneur package is priced at %{prijs.zbt:basis.bankieren.ondernemerspakket.eur}% per month excluding costs for debits and credits, optional integration with accounting software, customer research costs and more than two legal representatives/endorsees.

We will notify you by letter. You retain your business payment account and all other business products you use.

Customer research fees: in addition to the fixed costs and transaction fees, we also charge customer research fees for certain legal forms. The exact amount depends on the legal form you have and the complexity of your business structure.

What is the difference between the Startup business package and the Entrepreneur package?

Is your business registered with the Chamber of Commerce for less than 1 year? Then you can apply for the Startup business package with a business current account. This is free for the first 6 months, including transactions within SEPA countries. After 6 months, you automatically switch to a Entrepreneur package.

Is your business registered with the Chamber of Commerce for more than 1 year? Then you can apply for the Entrepreneur package with a business current account. Is a business current account mandatory?

Accepted Answer

If you have business income and expenses, many banks will require you to open a business bank account. So do we. A personal payment account is exclusively for personal use. The Tax Authorities do not require you to open a business current account.

Question 6

Can I open a business current account without a Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number?

Accepted Answer

Since January 1, 2010, every entrepreneur must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce. Without a KvK number, it is not possible to open a business current account or Startup or Entrepreneur Package with ING. Exceptions to this are:

Informal associations
Religious communities (excluding umbrella organisations)
Public bodies (municipalities, provinces and other governmental bodies, etc.)
If you are receiving assistance from the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), or are being assisted by a facilitator via the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, please follow the account opening process outlined on the website of the Dutch banking association (NVB).
