How do I change my name?

The following details can only be changed in an ING branch or service point. You'll need to make an appointment to visit a branch. Please remember to bring a valid ID.

Where can I check or change my address?

Accepted Answer

In My ING, select your name in the top right corner and go to 'Personal details'. There, you'll find your address and can change it if you like. In the app, select ‘Service’, then select ‘Your details'.

Please note: If you have a joint account, each of you needs to change your address in your own My ING account or the app.

How do I change my child's address?

Accepted Answer

In My ING, select your name in the top right corner and go to 'Personal details'. There, you'll find the address and can change it if you like. If the address is already correct, you can enter it again. Then, on the next screen, you can select any children that will move to that address with you. Adults must always change their own address.

Question 4

I have received a message that my address is undeliverable, what should I do?

Accepted Answer

Customers with an undeliverable address are at risk, we can no longer reach you for important information! There is a risk of important letters are ending up in the wrong hands.

If your address is set to undeliverable, you will be asked to update the correspondence address via:

1. The App/MyING provided you have access
2. At an ING servicepoint (or branch, note: this requires an appointment)

Do you have a joint account? update the address of the undeliverable account holder.

If the correspondence address has not been updated after the first communication, a reminder will be sent after 2 weeks, after which the payment account will be blocked. If no action is taken within 14 weeks, your account(s) will be closed.
